The second day in beautiful Sorrento I wore my new favourite wide leg trousers. Covered in flowers and beautiful colours, I just couldn’t wait to show them off. They’re a high waist with pockets and an adorable cute frill hem. I wanted to embrace the high waist so I knew I wanted to wear a crop top. I think long sleeves with puffy, cuffed details are really elegant. I adore this top so much that I have it in blue and white. They both looked great with these trousers so I actually had to ask my girlfriends for advice on which one to choose. I think the blue really makes the extra statement and shows confidence in wearing bright colours and rocking the different shades / tones.
I deliberately wore my hair back with this look because I knew I wanted these fabric earrings to make their statement. The emerald green colour with gold details matched the colours in the trousers perfectly. These beautiful fabric earrings with stone features were purchased just the other day from H&M in Oxford Circus. I think they’re so new that the online store is still yet to be updated, but there are plenty of alternatives on shops such as asos, accessories etc too.
Lastly, the metallic cork wedge heels. They are the exact height for the trousers to sit perfectly and they don’t look too heavy or bulky. I take these on every holiday. I purchased them from Asos some time ago but they have plenty more in stock practically identical – because Wedge heels never go out of fashion and they really do work with every holiday or summer look. I think some nude material wedge heels would also look fabulous with this outfit. Let me know what you think.
