Italy, Sorrento Lookbook III

I am absolutely obsessed with being colourful and brightly patterned when on holiday. This dress is full of flowered detail and it is the most beautiful mint / sage colour. This colour is quite unusual with clothing so I wasn’t sure at first but I think once on it looks stunning.I don’t usually wear clothes that are above my knee or classed as a ‘mini’ skirt or dress, but this one has long sleeves and its elegance in detail made me feel very comfortable. The neckline drapes in to a twisted wrap and the silky satin material makes it even more perfect. I thought my patent nude stilettos gave structure to the look as the pointed toe made my pins appear that little daintier. I wanted a bag to put over my shoulder and the gold chain matches and strongly compliments the dress details perfectly. Its the perfect mini size handbag to take out on an evening of dinner and drinks. My fiancé’s mum bought this for me as a gift and I use it all the time with evening outfits. Surprisingly so much fits in it too! Perhaps I will do a ‘whats in my handbag post’ soon.  As I’ve never worn this colour before, I was a little nervous about what colours to pair it with. However, the nude colours are the perfect all rounder. My shoes, handbag and even nails and lipstick, have all played the perfect part in complimenting this outfit from head to toe without overpowering the look, whilst keeping it classy. The beautiful emerald green earrings really make the dark green leaves in the dress come to life whilst the subtle gold earring detailing work well with the gold handbag details. I hope you love this evening holiday look.
