Autumn is coming to an end and I can’t deny that I am a little sad, but #panicover because we still have until the 20th December! I love the autumnal vibes with the beautiful mix of shades available; brown, beige, burnt orange, deep reds and more. All the colours that scream warmth, and suit every skin tone. This season makes me think roasted marsh mellows, fires, cinnamon and the time of year that you can finally bring out your favourite jumper to keep snuggled up in the crisp, cold mornings. Even though the deceiving sun beams through the window – not that I’m complaining. This outfit has been a long time coming and I am craving more coats like this one! I love the colour Tan, whatever the time of year. The cream fluffy inside is as warm as it gets and the little collar and gold pockets are adorable. This coat gives so much character and it’s a great length too. The buckle detail around the cuffs and collar gives it that extra bit of flare.
My oversized clutch was the exact colour match and you can wear it with or without the gold strap. Personally, I prefer it as the clutch so I tuck it in the bag. It’s really handy because you can actually store everything you need in it. My hairbrush is always too big for other clutches so this is a dream!
I tried to mix it up a bit with this beautiful cream knitwear. It’s a crop jumper, great for enjoying the last bit of sun that we have, but it’s also making the transition into winter as it’s high neck, covered in fluff, and totally snug. You really get the best of both seasons.
Cream booties are everywhere right now (along with the detailed embroidered booties which I am dying to get my hands on too). The length of these boots are above your ankles and they look really cute with frilly topped socks poking out. They are a nice height and the brown turtle heel effect makes a statement every time you walk. Mini skirts aren’t something that I would usually have the confidence to wear, but I actually found this one last season in #RiverIsland which I love; it’s suede effect with a flattering high waist. Thankfully it isn’t too short, at 5ft4 I thought it was a great length for me. I wanted to throw another colour in and I think the brown stone colour goes really well because it isn’t too extravagant.
Please note: Some of the items are no longer available, in which case I have suggested alternatives or I would recommend trying eBay.
