Dressing for the darker days

As the days are getting colder and the evenings get darker, it can be quite difficult deciding what to wear, especially when you wake up some morning’s and it’s freezing cold, then the next the sun is shining – so this is my happy medium outfit.img_9833Grey and black are both two of my favourite colours, I think they match perfectly together and with everything else. I’ve gone for a bit more of an ‘edgy’ look with this outfit. As always, it’s the details that really make it.

Show of your curves with confidence and don’t let anyone dull your sparkle with this simple, yet sleek knitted midi dress. It’s really well fitted so it hugs the curves in all the right places. It has slits either side of the thighs for that extra bit of flair when walking. The long sleeves keep you snug and the flattering v neck shows just enough flesh to stop that ‘bundled up’ knitwear look. In addition, the 90’s choker is back and it really compliments the neckline adding that extra bit of appeal.

_mg_0285My #KylieJenner inspired boots. My boyfriend picked these for me and I absolutely fell in love! They’re a black suede material with a sexy laced up look at the front. These are my very affordable version of Balmain lace up boots.

*Rina’s quick tip: Why not try pairing these boots with mom jeans and a leather jacket for a bit of a biker look.*_mg_0401Suede effect jackets are everywhere this season and they work with everything. This one was a total H&M bargain! The metal zips and buttons suit the grey scheme perfectly. It doesn’t exactly keep me warm, but I have the long knitted dress to do that._mg_0234

_mg_0222Zara have the best bags and this one will probably crop up in a few of my posts. It’s really good quality with a long silver chain which continues around the edges, outlining the gorgeous snakeskin effect which glimmers as it catches the light. It can be dressed up or down as a casual bag or on a glam evening out. _mg_0290Lastly, my black felt buckle hat! Who doesn’t love hats? This literally makes the look. The main reason I adore the buckle belt trim; it’s such a simple piece, yet it adds so much character linking the whole outfit together. To me, this is what really differentiate’s the hat from others.
